It’s basically Fenix 7 with OLED screen. Hence, it’s a great watch (though bulkier than e.g. FR 955). You should get used to OLED that, besides being higher resolution and great in terms of indoor visibility, has the following cons: – It eats the battery, particularly with always on display – Always on display flickers a lot (that’s a compromise to save battery) – Outdoor visibility is worse than on Fenix (or any other watch with MIP screen)
Long story short, if you’re fine with disabling the always-on display/relying on wrist gesture for waking the screen up, this is a great watch. I could keep it for basically the same price as Fenix 7 (both with great discounts), but decided to stick to Fenix 7 because of the screen.

Na diverse Fenix uitvoeringen ditmaal voor de Epix gen 2 gekozen en tot nu toe geen moment spijt. Het zeer scherpe scherm in combinatie met de vele gebruiksmogelijkheden en instellingen maken dit sporthorloge tevens een fijne smartwatch, mijn vaste metgezel. Of het nu hardlopen, fietsen, wandelen, roeien een kracht of cardio workout betreft, het kan allemaal.

I bought this watch mainly for sport like fitness, hiking, cycling and golf. The watch has a considerable weight and I prefer my Vivoactive 4 which I kept for fitness because of that. There are a lot of sportprofiles, the golf features are great and measuring the heart beats, saturation and stress levels are a big plus. The Amoled screen is very clear and detailed and battery life a lot better than Vivoactive. I am a watch lover but wear most of the time the Epix because I love the looks. Even bought a metal strap which adds to the looks.

Belle montre que j’ai eu sur amazon pour un prix exceptionnel (480€) jamais revu ensuite. Pas de synchro possible avec Google Fit, mais l’appli Garmin Connect est très complète. Très pratique pour la rando et le VTT, on peut transférer des GPX. Sur ce modèle acier, il y a moins de mémoire et on doit donc choisir quelles cartes installer. Et pour l’Europe, il y a 2 cartes: Est ou Ouest. J’ai installé l’Ouest, mais cela n’inclut ni la Suisse, ni l’Italie, qui font tous 2 partie de la carte Est 🙁 Voyons Garmin, ça vous ferai vraiment mal d’inclure l’Italie et la Suisse dans les 2 régions, qu’on ait un peu d’overlapping ? Quand j’irai skier à Avoriaz ou Chamonix, je n’ai plus de carte si je bascule en Suisse ? La version Saphir/Titane (encore plus chère, et moins jolie) ayant plus de mémoire, toutes les cartes du monde sont préinstallées, elle ne présente donc pas ce problème.

Premium-Smartwatch für Sportskanonen, hervorragendes Display das man auch noch in grellster Sonne ablesen kann, dazu Touch-Screen der solide funktioniert und mit Handschuhen ist die Uhr bequem über die Knöpfe bedienbar.
Die Uhr wirkt vom finish hochwertig und ist in der Praxis sehr robust und kratzfest.
Trotzdem ist die Uhr sehr leicht. Für einige mögen die 61g (laut Hersteller) billig wirken, wer aber mal einen Edelstahl Maverick Chronograph mit Edelstahlarmband stundenlang am Handgelenk schlackern hatte (ca.161g) wird das geringe Gewicht bei seinen vielen Freizeitaktivitäten zu schätzen wissen.
Das GPS ist sehr genau. Sehr gefallen hat mir die Karten und Navigationsfunktion für meine Radtouren. Die Uhr bietet extrem viele funktionen die ich hier gar nicht alle Aufzählen kann.
Akkulaufzeit liegt bei ca. 6 Tagen und kann im Energiesparmodus auf bis zu 21 Tage hochgehen.
der Preis ist heftig aber die Verarbeitung ist gut, die Technik ist gut, Garmin connect ist mit seinen vielen features kostenlos.
garmin connect und die menüführung auf der uhr ist manchmal unübersichtlich. aber irgendwas ist ja immer.
aber Kurz: für super aktive multisportler, tri-athleten, Sportkanonen, Outdoor-Helden ist die Uhr eine Überlegung wert. Alternativen wären evtl. die Fenix 5 oder 6
Wer nur einen Schrittzähler braucht sollte sich was anderes kaufen.
Enkel ingelogde klanten die dit product gekocht hebben, kunnen een beoordeling schrijven.
